We are frequently asked if we see and treat children at our dental office. We thought it best to create a blog post to tell you just how welcome kids are at our office!
Do we treat children at our office?
We LOVE treating children at our office. They are a breath of fresh air and a lot of fun to work with. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide our young patients with a pleasant, positive and relaxed experience. We achieve this by treating each child as an individual and providing treatment at a pace and manner that allows their dental visit to be successful. Our goal is to develop a positive, lifetime attitude toward dental care. We have been treating children at our office for over 35 years. A good portion of our current adult patients began their dental treatment at our office when they were younger, and now bring their children to our office.
Do all children need to have their teeth cleaned and be treated by a Pediatric Dentist?
Pediatric Dentists provide an invaluable service to our community, but not every child needs to have their teeth cleaned or treated by a Pediatric Dentist or Pedodontist. The majority of children do very well in our office. We have in the past and will continue in the future to refer any child who needs the services of a Pediatric Dentist, if or when those services become indicated. We encourage you to bring your children and keep your children at our office, unless the services of a Pediatric Dentist become necessary or indicated.
