Before we introduce our new Skyline Dental dentist, we need to thank our wonderful, amazing, loyal patients for their support, patronage, and referrals over the years. In order to keep up with demand and maintain the timely, professional, and personal care that our patients have come to expect over the years, we once again need to bring in an additional dentist.
After an extensive search, we found a wonderful dentist who aligns with our core principles of conservative patient care, trust, and integrity. He will help us continue your care in the manner that you have become accustomed to.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Tom Bordieri to Skyline Dental. The additional office hours will help improve our ability to serve our patients on short notice, provide timely service, and expand our ability to manage same-day emergencies. It will also allow our existing dentists to spend a little more time with their growing children and families.
Please Welcome Dr. Thomas Bordieri
Originally from San Diego, California, Dr. Tom spent most of his childhood on the baseball diamond, football field, skateboarding, or surfing in the ocean. After High School, he played quarterback for one season at West Virginia State University on an athletic scholarship, before leaving to dedicate himself to his education.
He worked several years as a Material Scientist while continuing his undergraduate studies. He discovered his passion for dentistry while volunteering at his hometown Community Dental Clinic providing care for the homeless and underserved. He would later become the Student Director of the Community Dental Clinic and help open two additional Community Dental Clinics to serve the homeless.
After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, San Diego, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, and completed his dental education at the Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in 2019. After Dental School, he completed an additional year of Advanced General Practice Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has since worked in a private practice in San Diego before recently moving to Bend.
Dr. Tom has always had a strong sense of adventure and enjoys the outdoors. He has traveled all over the world, slept on the Great Wall of China, trekked through the Himalayas in Nepal, and participated in multiple humanitarian mission trips to Mexico. He is always excited to meet new people and experience new cultures.
Dr. Tom and his soon-to-be wife, Dr. Nichole Tasooji are very excited to be moving to Central Oregon. They look forward to becoming contributing members of our community and enjoying the snow, trails, rivers, forests, and deserts of Central Oregon with their pup Odysseus (Ody).
As always, the choice of which dentist or hygienist you see at Skyline Dental is up to you. Dr. Tom will simply provide another option at our office for patients who need to get in sooner, have an emergency, or need an appointment time that suits their schedule better. We are very excited to be welcoming Dr. Tom to our Skyline Dental family and know that you will appreciate and trust Dr. Tom as much as we do!
